Privacy Policy

QuietRate is currently in development and is not yet publicly released on the App Store. This policy describes the current development version of QuietRate and will be updated before public release if the app’s data practices change.

No account required

QuietRate does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app.

Data stored on your device

QuietRate stores app preferences and rate data needed for the app’s local functionality on your device. This may include your selected currencies, currency order, current app state, and cached reference-rate information.

This locally stored information is used to provide app functionality and persistence between launches.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The current development version of QuietRate does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking.

QuietRate does not sell personal information.

Exchange-rate data

QuietRate is still evaluating its production exchange-rate data source.

Development builds currently use built-in sample data and do not represent a live financial data service.

Before QuietRate is publicly released, this policy will be updated as necessary to describe the final production data source and any relevant data-processing practices associated with network requests.

As with ordinary internet services, a data provider may technically receive information required to process a network connection, such as an IP address and standard request metadata. Final provider-specific details will be reviewed before release.

Website

When you visit quietrate.app, the infrastructure used to host the website may process standard technical information associated with serving a webpage, such as IP addresses, browser information, and request logs, according to the hosting provider’s own practices.

This version of the QuietRate website does not include analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, external web fonts, or cookies set by QuietRate.

Children’s privacy

QuietRate is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as QuietRate develops, particularly when the production exchange-rate source and final App Store release configuration are established.

Material changes will be reflected by updating the date shown at the top of this page.
